Hasselt's goby (Callogobius hasseltii) is a small goby with a brown body crossed by dark bands and rows of sensory papillae on its head.
It is shy and secretive, staying close to the bottom in crevices and under rocks, where it feeds on small invertebrates.
In the Philippines it is found on shallow reefs and rubble slopes, often only seen at night.
