Tambja gabrielae is a dorid nudibranch from the family Polyceridae, a group that also includes Nembrotha and Roboastra.

It has a green body boldly patterned in yellow and black bands, with dark rhinophores and gills. The bright colours are a warning to predators that it does not taste good.

Like other Tambja it feeds on bryozoans, so look for it on reefs and walls where these moss-like animals grow.

Its bold pattern looks great in photos. Try a side angle at the slug's eye level to show the gills and rhinophores together.

It appears on page 51 of Nudibranchs of the Philippines.
