Thuridilla lineolata is a sacoglossan, or sap-sucking sea slug, from the family Plakobranchidae. Like other sacoglossans it is not a true nudibranch.
It has a bright blue body, and its wing-like parapodia are edged in orange with fine black lines. The colours make it one of the easier Thuridilla to recognise.
It grazes on algae and is usually seen out in the open on reef and rubble during the day.
It can move surprisingly fast for a slug, so frame loosely and fire several shots. A clean background makes the blue and orange pop.
It appears on page 363 of Nudibranchs of the Philippines.
