The pink-eye goby (Bryaninops natans) is a tiny, glassy goby with a bright pink-magenta eye, often seen hovering in small groups above Acropora corals. Its transparent body has a yellowish belly.

It grows to only around 2-3 cm. Unlike many gobies, it spends much of its time hovering just above the coral branches, feeding on plankton, and dives back into the coral when threatened.

The pink-eye goby is found across the Indo-Pacific, including the Philippines, where it lives on shallow reefs with healthy branching corals.
