Miamira sinuata

Kingdom: Animalia
Phylum: Mollusca
Class: Gastropoda
Order: Nudibranchia
Family: Chromodorididae
Genus: Miamira
Species: Miamira sinuata

Miamira sinuata is a chromodorid nudibranch with a lumpy, ridged green body marked with red-orange and blue. Its irregular shape makes it look quite unlike most smooth chromodorids.

It grows to about 6 cm and feeds on sponges. Its warning colours advertise the defensive chemicals it carries.

In the Philippines it is found on reefs and rubble slopes, usually crawling in the open.
