The manybar goatfish (Parupeneus multifasciatus) is a goatfish with dark bars along a pale body and two barbels on its chin.
It probes the sand with its barbels to find small invertebrates, often followed by other fish.
In the Philippines it is common on sand and rubble around reefs.
