Lobiger viridis is a sacoglossan, or sap-sucking sea slug, in the family Oxynoidae. Like its relatives it carries a thin external shell.

It is yellow-green to olive with long, finger-like side lobes (parapodia) that stick out from the body. The colour helps it blend into the algae it lives on.

Sacoglossans feed by piercing algae and sucking out the cell contents. Lobiger species are found on green Caulerpa algae.

In the Philippines search Caulerpa patches closely, since the animal looks like part of the weed. A side-on shot shows the lobes and shell best.

It appears on page 318 of Nudibranchs of the Philippines.
