Janss' pipefish (Doryrhamphus janssi) is a slender pipefish with an orange head and tail, a dark blue-black midbody and a white-edged, rounded tail fin.

It grows to about 14 cm and lives in caves, crevices and under ledges, where it often acts as a cleaner, picking parasites from larger fish. As in all pipefish, the male carries the eggs.

Janss' pipefish is found in the western Pacific, including the Philippines, where divers find it in shaded holes on reefs, often near the banded pipefish.
