The fimbriated moray (Gymnothorax fimbriatus) is a yellowish-green moray covered in dark spots, with a dark-tinged head. The spots are irregular and vary in size.

It grows to about 80 cm and hunts fish and crustaceans, mostly at night. It is commonly seen with cleaner shrimps working on its head.

In the Philippines it is common in reef crevices, rubble and even on muck sites, often sharing holes with cleaner shrimps.
