Cyerce nigra is a striking black sacoglossan sea slug with yellow-edged, leaf-like cerata.
Growing to around 3-4 cm, it feeds on green algae and can shed its cerata to escape predators. Its bold colors warn predators that it is distasteful.
It is found among algae on rubble slopes in the Philippines.
